The British Rhinological Society was created to promote education and research in all aspects of rhinology - the study of the nose and sinuses and related areas. The Society provides a platform for those with an interest in rhinology to help disseminate knowledge on the subject. There are currently over 300 members from all round the world.

Submission is now open for abstracts for posters and registrar papers for the 2012 annual BRS meeting in Belfast. The meeting promises the usual excellent standard of talks and guest speakers, with the Storz lecture being orated by Professor Andreas Leunig from Munich
Closing date for abstract submissions is 9th March 2012. There are clear guidelines available for what to submit and how. Please do adhere to these to avoid the disappointment of your abstract not being considered.
The next Annual Meeting of the British Rhinological Society will be held in Belfast Waterfront on 18th May 2012 on the centenary of the building of the Titanic.
All members of the BRS are automatically members of the European Rhinologic Society through association. As well as being a member of a Europe-wide society, this will qualify youfor a 10% discount on all ERS-affilliated meetings and courses.
